The chances of ever seeing one of these things while diving is almost zero. I spotted this Giant Oarfish and realized it was wounded. It had been bitten in the head and the tail and had scratch marks all along it's body. So I took a shot and ended it's misery. I then decided to take this fish in to shore to properly document it as these are rarely seen by humans. #news #dominicanrepublic #giantoarfish
