The Maori cod, also known as the Maori rockcod, Maori grouper, or red-speckled rock cod, can be found in waters between 10–80 meters deep. Not so with this one. 🎯 🐟 ••• ••• From: @trevorketchion ••• By far the easiest Maori cod I’ve ever seen caught. I assume this was lost from or released by a line fishing boat and had barotrauma but since it was clearly legal size and very tasty it became ours muhahahah.
